My brother leaves.
Today my oldest brother Mike is moving to Colorado with his fiance Jaime and he wont be back for a year or so. I'm supposed to go see him durring the winter to go snowboarding, but i don't think my mom will let me. I couldn't stop crying tonight because i know im not going to see him for a while and the longest i've gone without seeing him was his senior year when he went to spain for 3 weeks. I was so close with him so this is really hard on me. In the winter we would always go snowboarding together, he was a mad dirty boarder. He would always make me do things i wouldn't normally do if there wasn't someone there to tell me how to do it, but once i did something and landed it, it felt so good. He was the only one who could push me to do tricks, if it wasn't for him i'd still be on the top of the mountain scared to pieces. He taught me everything i know. I am going to miss him so much, and once he comes back he's getting the biggest hug of his life! I love him so much, and can't wait till be comes back.

Francis of Assisi
The importance of penance in the prayer I believe is that those who chose not to walk in the way of the lord should have penace and would be punished for the sins they have commited. Not everyone has done their penace and will one day come to see that the almighty god shall not put that type of infliction on those who choose him and choose to walk in the glory of his presance.
The son will one day come again to give penance for our sins.
"Thy son himself is to come again in the glory of his majesty to put the wicked who have not done penance for their sins, and have not known thee, in eternal fire and to say to all who have known thee and adore thee, and serve thee in penance."
I feel like that is trying to say that, those who have not paied for their sins will not have to worry if they will see the power and love that god can give them, because the son will one day reveal himself. We all long for that day in great excitment.

April 25, 2008.
On friday afternoon i went to Vineyard with my mom and my friend alisha. My parents decided it would be fun to help out with the lunch for the bands that we suposed to be playing that night. The bands decided they wanted a big lunch so they wouldn't puke on stage, yummy right? Well when the bands came they were a lot different then i expected. All of them were very friendly and you could definitely tell they haven't been to Maine much just watching them try and eat a lobster, yeah that was a very fun thing to watch. Later that night was the concert, and it was amazing. I never knew how spiritually developed they were. It seemed like they had experianced a lot with God and their journeys around the world to teach other people about God and help people that were struggling with their spiritual beings. Sometimes I think what it would be like to be able to travel the world, talk about God and let people know all about what he does for us, must be one of the most fantastic things to do with our short time on earth.

Augustine #1
Adam was suposed to be the caretaker of Eden, and he failed to follow through in the task that God had provided him with. "Though a man walk in the image of God. Yet will he be disquieted in vain." Adam was not being of the image of God, he was disloyal to the tasks God had given him. Never did he think of the consiquences of his actions, or what might happen to Eden after what he had done. Unfortunatley sin came to the world after that, and that is the biggest mistake one could make.
