Bible Blog project

#1 Proverbs 16:9

In my heart I plan my course, but the Lord determines my steps.

This is one of my favorite Bible verses, as I'm growing up and am graduating highschool this year I'm reminded that God is always with me through it all, and He already has my life planned out, it is in His hands. We talked about this a little in class on Wednesday so I thought of this verse. =]

Even though this blog is short is is one I can reflect on no matter what. That is why I chose it. This verse is one of my favorite verses. Tomorrow is my LAST day of highschool. The feeling I have right now is so amazing. I am sad to leave because there are so many people I will miss..I mean I love all of you. Though this verse reminds me that now it is my time to move on, to go and accomplish many things, and to let God take me and lead me to what He would have me do for Him.

#2

Yesterday I went with Tom and helped serve dinner to some people. At first I was stressed out because I had alot of things to get done that day and tons of homework. It's not that I didn't want to go it's just I kept thinking of the millions of things I had to do after. Once I got there though it was alot of fun, and Tom always makes me feel better. The people there really apperciated us making dinner for them.  I was so glad I did it because they were worth my time, I realized I was becoming selfish and I think God used this for me to see things in a different perspective.

I chose this blog because I have learned to always remember to take time out of my busy schedule and help those who need it. My life will be changing dramatically in the next year and I always want to help those around me, and to put others before myself. Even if life seems to be stressful and crazy.
